white, 3 oz variegated, 1 ⁄ 2 oz
each gold and black, small
amount orange
• Size G/6 crochet hook or size
needed to obtain gauge

• 2 (1 ⁄ 2-inch) black pompoms
• 5 (7mm) black pompoms• 4 (5 ⁄ 8-inch) gold
buttons
• Fiberfill
• Bag of large craft pellets
• Craft tacky glue
• Tapestry needle

4 sc = 1 inch; 4 rows = 1 inch

Rnds 5–7: Rep Rnd 4.
Rnd 8: [Sc in each of next 8 sc, dec
1 sc over next 2 sc] rep around. (18 sc)
Rnd 9: [Sc in each of next 4 sc, dec

Rnds 10–26: Rep Rnd 4. At the
end of Rnd 26, sl st in next st, leaving
a length of yarn, fasten off.
Stuff arm firmly with fiberfill and
sew to side of body.
LEG

sc] 3 times, sc in each of next 5 sc, 2 sc

Rnd 4: Sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc,
sc in each of next 10 sc, 2 sc in next sc,
sc in next 9 sc. (24 sc)
Rnd 5: Sc in each sc around.Rnds 6–10: Rep Rnd 5.
Rnd 11: [Sc in each of next 2 sc, dec

Rnd 13: Attach white, rep Rnd 5.
Rnds 14–48: Rep Rnd 5. At the
end of Rnd 48, sl st in next sc, leaving
a length of yarn, fasten off.
Fill black shoe section of leg with
craft pellets and stuff rem of leg light-ly with fiberfill. With
toe of shoe point-
ing forward, flatten top of leg and sew
opening closed. Sew legs to bottom ofbody. Glue gold button to
each shoe.
NOSE
Rnd 1: With orange, ch 2, 6 sc in2nd ch from hook. (6
sc)
Rnds 2–5: Sc in each sc around. Atthe end of Rnd 5, sl st
in next st, leav-ing a length of yarn, fasten off.
Stuff nose lightly with a small
amount of orange yarn. Sew nose tocenter front of face.
EYES
Glue 1 ⁄ 2-inch black pompoms tofront of face, above
nose 1 inch apart.
MOUTH
Center and glue 7mm black pom-poms below nose.
SHOULDER STRAP
Make 2
Row 1 (WS): With variegated, ch
3, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next

Craft pellets add

Rows 2–36: Ch 1, sc in each of next
2 sc, turn.
At the end of Row 36, leaving a
length of yarn, fasten off.
Sew shoulder straps to front over
Rnd 31, 2 inches apart. Cross straps
in back and sew in place over Rnd 31
on back. Glue 1 gold button at end of
each strap on front.
SCARF
Row 1: With gold, ch 7, sc in 2nd ch
from hook, [dc in next ch, sc in next ch]
twice, dc in last ch, turn. (3 sc; 3 dc)
Rows 2–60: Ch 1, [sc in each dc, dc
in each sc] rep across, turn. At the
end of Row 60, fasten off. Tie scarf
around neckline.
HAT
Rnd 1: With crochet hook size Hand variegated, ch 36, sl st
to join toform a ring, ch 1, sc in same ch as begch, dc in next ch,
[sc in next ch, dc innext ch] rep around, sl st to join in begsc,
turn. (18 sc; 18 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, [sc in next dc, dc innext sc] rep around, sl
st to join in begsc, turn.
Rnd 3: Working in back lps for thisrnd only, ch 1, sc in
each sc around, sl
st to join in beg sc, turn. (36 sc)
Rnds 4–18: Ch 1, sc in each sc
around, sl st to join in beg sc, turn. At the end of Rnd
18, fasten off.
Wrap a length of yarn tightly aroundtop of hat between Rnds 14
and 15and secure. Place hat on head andsew in place.✄
