2009/10 R&D Milestones

• Centre for Applied Research, Innovation & University Partnerships (ARIUP) celebrates fifth anniversary (est. March 2005)

• Year of “firsts” -- first CCI grant - Centre for Sustainable Energy & Environments (CSEE); first OCE grant for solar project with Virelec Ltd.

• NIE (CONII2) created/funded, $ for colleges to work with industry; Ottawa doubles CCI budget to $30M/yr

• NSERC and SSHRC eligible
