Where your marketing goals meet the community health centers of the WestEvery October for nearly 20 years, CHAMPS and NWRPCA have brought their members together for one of the nation’s largest gatherings of primary care providers and community health administrators. Representatives of more than 130 community health clinics (including clinical and administrative leadership, and managerial, coordinating and support staff) spend four days immersed in educational sessions, peer networking, and strategic meetings with federal agencies and national leaders. Together they recharge their batteries and strategize to keep up with the constantly changing terrain of the Affordable Care Act.

A few years ago CHAMPS and NWRPCA invited the Western Clinicians Network to join them at the conference, adding CHC clinicians from five additional states. This Fall Primary Care Conference is arguably the most fertile ground west of the Mississippi for the incubation of new ideas and the testing of new innovations in community health and wellness. This is the gathering where leaders of Federally Qualified Health Centers wrestle with the challenges of Patient-Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use of health information technology, integration of medical services, management of chronic pain, challenges of the 340B prescription drug program, patient engagement and so much more.

This is the meeting where you will have the time, the space and the opportunity to interact with community health center CEOs, CFOs, CMOs, COOs, HR Directors, consumer board members, insurance outreach specialists, clinical administrators, quality improvement specialists and other key decision-makers. The 2014 Fall Primary Care Conference offers an advantageous schedule: Three full weekdays — Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, you may opt into the extended package, setting up your table early and exhibiting on Sunday also. We piloted this package at the NWRPCA Spring Primary Care Conference. Thirty percent of the exhibitors started early, and they all said it was a worthwhile commitment.
