Housings as 3D elasc parts: import of housings as 3D STEP and automac FEM meshing to consider deformaon and sffness of the housing throughout the system. 3D elasc housings can be imported as Nastran mesh, too. 3D elasc housings can be considered for calculaon of eigenfrequencies using modal reducon. Integraon of axisymmetric 3D elasc parts can be defined using a polygon. The soſtware meshes the parts automacally and connects to the boundary condions of the shaſts. A further extension of the 3D elasc parts funcon is the support of planet carriers and imported shaſts. Planet carriers importable as CAD models or definable parametrically for the use as 3D elasc part; various basic designs available for parametric planet carriers. Listed below is an overview of some of the major new features in version 04/2017: SystemManager is a true soſtware applicaon for complete systems of machine elements, i.e., the soſtware is a coupled FE calculaon of mul-shaſt systems with gears as non-linear coupling elements. SystemManager runs as a desktop applicaon, making it possible to configure and calculate enre systems with just a few mouse clicks.
