The course is EDTL 4900 (undergraduate level) or EDTL 6800 (graduate level). ADDITIONAL TRIP INFORMATION: If you wish to depart from another airport than Detroit, an additional cost will apply. If you wish to return home from London days later than the group, an additional cost will apply. Trip Price per person: $3,348.70 This is for three students sharing a hotel room. If you desire a double room you may pay and additional $396 to have your own bed. If you desire to have your own room, you may pay an additional $747 for a single room. (Genders will not be mixed ) Payment Plan A $500 deposit is due by 5pm on December 15, 2016 You will be billed by the Bursar’s Office on April 2 nd for the remaining amount of the trip and tuition/fees for the course. Day 1: Wednesday June 14, 2017 02:00pm Group meets at Detroit Wayne County Airport 05:50pm Flight departs for London, England (exact times TBD)

Day 2: Thursday June 15, 2017 06:25am Flight arrives to London, clear

customs, meet local tour guide, board transfer bus & depart for the hotel

08:00am Arrive to hotel, store luggage & have a typical English breakfast

10:00am Travel through 1000 years of British history on a walking tour where you will visit St James's Palace, Buckingham Palace with the changing of the Guard, The House of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, 10 Downing St, Churchill War Rooms & much more

walking tour of London from the Roman settlement 2,000 years ago to the tallest building in Europe! Sites include St Paul's Cathedral, The Tower of London, Temple Church, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Millennium Bridge, River Thames, & much more

11:30am Depart for the Globe Theater where you will take part in a Shakespeare Workshop

01:00pm Workshop ends, free time for lunch in the Foyer Cafe (lunch cost not included) 02:00pm Attend a matinee performance at the Globe (show TBD) 05:00pm Meet with cast members after the show for a Q & A 05:30pm Spend the rest of the evening exploring London on your own 08:00pm Tonight you will have dinner at a restaurant on the banks of the Thames Day 4: Saturday June 17, 2017 08:00am English breakfast at hotel 09:00am Today we will journey to Oxford &

embark on a literary tour to discover the city’s magic that has inspired generations of creative writers such as J.R.R Tolkien, C.S Lewis & Lewis Carroll

12:30pm Make our way to the Perch for lunch, the oldest pub in Oxford (Rumor has it that Lewis Carroll based the 'Treacle Well' at the Mad Hatters Tea Party on the miracle well in the nearby churchyard.)

02:30pm Next we will enjoy a guided tour & talk of Christ Church College, where you will gain insight into the College's history, architecture, student life, and scenes associated with the world of Harry Potter.

04:30pm Return to London 07:30pm Dinner at a local restaurant in Soho

home to treasures like original Beatles lyrics Shakespeare's first folio & the Magna Carta

11:30am Next we will pay a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum where you can see the famous Beatrix Potter collection!

01:00pm The rest of the afternoon is free to explore on your own

pilgrimage to Stratford-upon-Avon & the Cotswolds. We will pay a visit to Shakespeare’s place of birth, his grave in Holy Trinity Church, and Anne Hathaway's cottage. Visit the picturesque towns of Burford & Bourton on the Water (lunch is provided today instead of dinner)

07:00pm Tour ends at our hotel in London, spend the evening with BGSU friends in London

Day 8: Wednesday June 21, 2017 07:00am English breakfast at hotel 08:00am This morning we will visit a local school, attend morning assembly & attend some classes 12:00pm Break for lunch (cost not included) 03:00pm This afternoon take a backstage tour of the National Theater 04:00pm The rest of the afternoon is free 07:00pm Traditional dinner at a local restaurant

Day 9: Thursday June 22, 2017 07:00am English breakfast at hotel 08:00am This morning we will visit a local

school, and attend some classes 12:00pm Break for lunch (cost not included) 01:00pm Spend the afternoon on a scenic bike tour

of Hyde Park & Kensington. 02:30pm Tour ends, enjoy a picnic dinner in

Hyde Park 07:00pm The rest of the evening is free
