YASWANTH KATRAGADDA GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ENGINEERING (HIGHWAYS)

“The best part of the college will always be the tutors who are industry experienced and/or highly qualified”. Yash now works at the Timaru District Council as a Roading Engineer where he gets to “work with extremely talented people who are willing to pass on their wisdom”. Yash credits studying at NZIHT with helping him get his position as a Roading Engineer where he is responsible for making the concept and final designs for Land Transport capital works, minor improvements and safety considerations. Yash graduated in 2015 and now holds a New Zealand Permanent Resident visa and has familiarised himself with his new home. He is a keen traveller and has already climbed Mount Taranaki and completed the Tongariro Crossing and many treks in Abel Tasman, Fiordland and Mount Cook National parks.

Work options

"One of my friends suggested WITT and its Graduate Diploma in Project Management. I searched for it on the internet and found it was the perfect combination of what I was looking for as it included subjects like supply chain and operations management”.

Pratik gained employment after his course at Eltham based Carac Group, where he also completed his intensive project internship.
