Owing to administrative error, the Guest Editor was incorrectly stated to be Professor Hermann Haller. This supplement was in fact edited by Dr David Pyke, an independent Guest Editor. We also apologize for omitting to acknowledge the sponsorship, not only of the supplement but also of the expert workshop on which it was based, by an educational grant from Bayer AG. The Editor apologizes to those concerned.
