Excellent Strength and Durability – The result of the unique field installed composite design.

Exceptional Chemical Resistance – The HDPE films are very resistant to most contaminates including VOCs.

Seamless System – The fluid applied component makes the transition details and field barrier a monolithic installation.

Fully Bonded to Slab – The geo-textile surface of the barrier mechanically interlocks with the concrete slab to form a permanent bond between the barrier and slab.

Redundant Protection – Multiple waterproofing and gas vapor barriers as well as protection courses.

System DescriptionSystem III MB is a field installed composite waterproofing and gas vapor barrier that is comprised of a water-based polymer modified asphalt (PMA) membrane sandwiched between two HDPE and polypropylene fabric laminate sheets which provides the durability and chemical resistance of HDPE with the constructability and installation efficiencies of a PMA. (See below for special designs for water table conditions.)

System Components

Ecoshield-P (Base Course) – An HDPE film laminated with a nonwoven polypropylene fabric geo-membrane. Ecoline-S (Middle Course) – A spray or fluid applied, water based polymer modified asphalt membrane. Ecoshield-PP (Top Course) – Same as Ecoshield-P except with micro-perforations.

System Components (Water Table Design)Ecoshield-PB -(Replaces Ecoshield-PP) - A geocomposite membrane comprised of polypropylene fabric and bentonite granules laminated to an HDPE sheet to provide self sealing characteristics and puncture resistance. Additional Information
