  • Main issues for energy efficiency public policies

    • Buildings : very large potential but financing mechanisms to develop. Priority at 2020/2030

    • Transport : technology but also organizational issues. Post 2020 deployment

    • Industry : still potential but globalization issue

  • Buildings

    • Zero energy building feasible with low overcost after 2020

    • What about the existing stock : deconstruction/reconstruction ? Or refurbishing at the block level?

    • Local energy production feed in the grid or local valorization ?

  • Transport

    • Technological gains on cars (toward 2l/100 Km efficicency), Hybrid, electric…

    • But stronger potential through advanced mobility services (car sharing, car pooling…)

    • Adaptation of vehicle to each use
