Zone School Cross Country Carnival The zone cross country carnival was held last Tuesday, 19th May. Well done to all competitors and congratulations to Ava P, Kahla C and Chloe K. The girls will now attend the regional cross country competition. We wish them every success.

Media Team We have selected two year 6 students to fulfil the role of our Media Team. The students will be responsible for taking photos during assembly and at school events. Kindergarten Enrolments Enrolments are being taken for Kindergarten 2016 of children, who will be turning 5 years old on or before 31st July, 2016. Please pass this information on to friends or neighbours who do not receive this newsletter. Enrolment forms are available from the school office.

History Speeches On Wednesday Sam B, and Nicholas W together with Mrs Sansom attended the annual history presentations by our local Parramatta schools. Two students from each school presented the history of their school from its commencement till present day. Mr Shakespeare from the historical society, was delighted with the boys presentation. Save The Date Family Movie Night will be held on 11th June. More details to come home soon.

Assembly Award Winners Congratulations to our assembly award winners. Students should be proud of their ongoing achievements and I have been delighted with the work that has been brought down to the office to be shared with me.

Entertainment Books The cost of the Sydney Greater West book is $65, Sydney North/Sydney is $70. A copy of the book is available for you to view at the office. Interrelate Family Evening – Tuesday, 16th June 2015 Session 1: 6:00pm “Where did I come From?” Session 2: 7:15pm “Preparing for Puberty”

Cost: One Session $25.00per family and $30 per family if attending both.

Band News The Senior Band will be participating in a band tutorial on Monday 25th May. This will provide the band an opportunity for intensive practice for future performances. Thank you to Jane Marie and Ruanne Kelly for organizing this event.

National Walk Safely to School Day – Friday 22nd May

Walk Safely to School Day is an annual, national event when all Primary School children will be encouraged to walk and commute safely to school. It is a Community Event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.
