KHS Chamber Choir to Perform at Choir Festival
The Kings High School Chamber
Choir has been invited to
perform at the premiere Music
for All National Choir Festival,
part of the 2018 Music for All
National Festival in Indianapolis,
Indiana, March 15-17, 2018.
The Choir was selected by a panel of renowned choral conductors, by recorded audition,
to be one of the charter groups singing at the debut national event. Under the direction of
Hope Milthaler, the Choir is made up of 28 talented male and female voices representing
all four grade levels at KHS. The music they sing is advanced high school to collegiate level
of difficulty, and represents a wide variety of styles.
“We are honored to be invited to participate in this National event. As their director, it
means a great deal to be able to provide an opportunity for them to show some of the
finest choral experts in our field exactly who we are,” said Milthaler. Congratulations!

Kings New Wellness Policy and Classroom Snack List
We told you back in May that the Kings Board of Education approved a new
Wellness Policy for the District. Additionally, our Wellness Committee de-
veloped an Approved Classroom Snack List to help guide parents in
selecting healthy and nut-free snacks for the classroom.
The intention of the new snack list is to support student development in
promoting healthy foods while providing food offerings that are safe for all
students in order to minimize allergen events.
Holiday parties are coming soon. Please make yourself familiar with our food policies so that we can keep all
of our students safe!
If you have any questions, please contact Kings Food Service Director, Jennifer Arlinghaus at 513-398-8050,

to a fallen service member. The team’s duty is to ensure those who made the ultimate sacrifice
are not forgotten.
Kings High School Senior, Dane Doebereiner sang the National Anthem as the sky divers ap-
