Assistant Kings’ Schools is a prestigious schools group which includes the founding school Kings' School Dubai in Umm Suqeim; the only school in the Emirates to have achieved the rating of “outstanding” for six years since inspections by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau began. Building on this success we have recently opened our two new schools: Kings' School Al Barsha and Kings' School Nad Al Sheba. Job Responsibilities for a Learning Support Assistant
• Will work alongside the Learning Support Teachers, Specialists and Class Teachers to provide efficient support and knowledge.
• Will provide curricular support for children with additional learning needs, including booster groups, in class support and one to one support as required.
• Will share support information with Class Teacher, parents and Learning Support Leader to track progress and development.
• Will plan in advance support sessions for children, to ensure effective learning support, whilst planning alongside the class teacher.
• Will have up to date knowledge with regards to the implementation of learning strategies and resources.
• Will attend both learning support and phase meetings to share concerns efficiently and proactively.
• Will attend in school learning support training. • Will work efficiently within a team and individually.
We will have vacancies for Primary Learning Support Assistants at Kings’ School Dubai to start in September. Working hours are 7:30am-2:30pm Sunday to Wednesday and 7.30am–1pm on Thursday. This is a local contract, applicants should have their own visa. Experience is preferred.
