This year’s special craft project included nature crafts from supplies gathered around the camp. Camp-ers covered pine cones with peanut butter, rolled them in bird seed, and tied a string on top for them to put in their trees at home. They also gathered sticks and created “god’s eyes” using yarn of various color combinations. The most popular event was a 13 hour scavenger hunt designed to enhance team work among Family members. In addition to fishing, boat rides, games, and hiking, we had an indoor sing-a-long and “s’mores soup”. It was an Equity original recipe using marshmallows and chocolate melted in a slow cooker with graham cracker pieces to dip in it. For the eighth consecutive year, our volunteer team was staff and family members from Equity Residential/Lewis-McChord Communities. We wish to send a big thank you to Debi and Pete Calkins, Jim and Julie Jackson, Ken, Kathy and Meriah Francis, Keith and Jessica Barker, Krista Hansen, Mike and Michael

Barnes, Scott Deuel, Marty and Eric Alflen, and Kim Fleshman. We would also like to send a special thank you to Michele Gross who de-signed a very challenging scavenger hunt and to Stacie Pogoncheff, our full-time EFMP volunteer for her many and varied contributions.
