Alguna vez se ha preocupado que su hijo(a) adolescente con epilepsia pueda sufrir de:•depresion?•ansiedad?•problemasdesocializacionengrupo?•abuso(bullying)porquetieneepilepsiaoesdiferenteenalgunaforma?
Lasaludemocionalymentalesunaparteintegraldelasaludgeneral.Desafortunadamente,muchasvecesporelestigmadenuestrasociedadhacialaenfermedadmental,muchosdenosotrosnoqueremosaceptarosabermasdelosproblemasmentalesennuestrasvidasodenuestroshijos.Porestarazon,muchossignosimportantes,yaseaennosotrosmismosoennuestroshijospasandesapercibidos.Laenfermedadmentalnotratada puede tener consecuencias severas que afectan lacalidaddevidadenuestrafamilia.

manyofusareuncomfortabledealingwiththatpart
ofourlives.So,wemayoverlookwarningsignsthat
weorourchildrenaredepressedoranxious,with
sometimesdisastrousconsequences.

four-partwellnessseminarforparentsandtheir
teenswithepilepsy.
