Duplication System © 2016 by YL Gathering Place, www.ylgatheringplace.com 2

Introduction:

We are so excited to share this simple duplication system with you! The goal is to focus on doing the small things on a consistent basis, not doing everything on your own, to grow your organization. The key to the duplication system is to STICK TO IT! The way to grow faster is not to do more, but to simply get more people on your team doing this simple system to multiply your efforts. Imagine your goal is to fill a lake with water, but you only have access to one small hole in a cloud. You can easily produce a consistent drip… or you can push yourself and produce a steady stream from your portion of the cloud. Either way, you will not fill the lake very quickly on your own! The goal should not be to do it all and wear yourself out as that steady stream. Working at this kind of pace is not duplicable, and it will scare a lot of people away from building a business because they will feel the need to duplicate what you are doing. Having a system is great, but your team will still duplicate what you DO. The goal should be to drip steadily from your small opening in the cloud, and empower others to do the same! Steady rain showers over the course of a few weeks can easily fill a lake! In line with these thoughts we have created this system with a D.R.I.P. mentality:Duplication - Every step in this system is easy for any person to duplicate. Resources - We have focused on using resources that a member already has access to. Income Producing Activities - Suggested daily activities that produce results! People - This is a people-focused industry. We focus on people, not numbers.

CHALLENGE:We want to challenge you to try this system for 60 full days. Commit to working your business daily with the FIVE Daily Activities, and planning ONE Intentional Interaction every week. Keep track of your commitment with the Weekly Activity Tracker (pg. 10), and share it with someone who will hold you accountable.

Step One: Find Your WHY!Knowing WHY you want to grow a Young Living business is crucial to your success. Your why needs to be something you are connected to on an emotional level. In what way does starting your own business and having success change your life? What value does it add to you and your family? You may already have a very strong why. Here are some examples of strong whys: - To replace full time income to be home with children. - To pay bills & meet the needs of the family. - Need an income for retirement.

It is also important to have a Kingdom Purpose or a why that is greater than just what you will be able to accomplish for your family. This is probably not something you will have right away, but is something to constantly be thinking and praying about as you grow. This business has the potential to do so much more than just meet the needs for your family, but can serve a greater purpose outside of ourselves!

Young Living Income Disclosure Statement

Most people are not motivated by money, but instead by what they can DO with money! On the next page, make a list of 25 things you would be able to do if you made the average income of your goal rank that you cannot do now.

Step Two: Daily Activities

This step focuses on the little things you do every day to grow your business. John Maxwell says that doing 5 things consistently every day in order to reach your goals, is the key to success! It’s the consistent drips that fill the lake! We personally choose to take a Sabbath rest one day of the week, and encourage you to do the same!

Here are the things you should be doing daily to grow your organization.

1. Use and learn about the Young Living products everyday:In order to confidently share the products with others, you must use them every day! The greatest thing about this company is that the products work! If you don’t use them, you can’t know how true this is. If you believe the products work, that will be clear to others when you are sharing with them.If you are using these products every day, and working to build a business, it only makes sense that you get on Essential Rewards (ER). This is the monthly autoship program Young Living has. Having a 100PV ER order every month ensures that you will earn all bonuses and commissions that you have qualified for. Plus, you earn the extra points to redeem for free product! There are over 400 Young Living products, and it’s likely you don’t own them all. Make it a goal to every day learn something new about one product. If you make this a daily habit, then you will soon know more about the products than you ever could have imagined!

2.- 4. THREE Income Producing Activities:It is very easy to become wrapped up in activities that are more administrative and do not work to actively share the products or grow your organization. Check the list on the next page for a checklist of specific Income Producing Activities. Choose three of these activities to do each and every day, then track them on the Weekly Activity Tracking Sheet (page 10.)

5. Personal Development:Anyone who is in Leadership will tell you that the growth of your business or organization is directly related to your personal growth. There is a list on page 8 with leadership development and specific skill development resources to guide you in this.

Track these 5 Activities on the Weekly Activity Tracking sheet (page 10) to share with the person who is holding you accountable!

Income Producing ActivitiesIncome Producing Activities are the things you do that present information about Young Living’s products or business opportunity to others. There are a lot of things you can do to help make sharing this information easier (creating graphics & websites,) but these things on their own are NOT Income Producing Activities without utilizing them to actively share the products or business with others. Here are a few ideas of Income Producing Activities.

Making Contact: • Fill in Prospect List below • Make a new contact • Contact 2 prospects • Share samples • Ask for referrals • Make follow up calls to prospects

Generate Interest:• Use oils in public • Make a FB post about YL products.

(not recommended more than 3X a week!)

Share & Educate: • Send information package • Make 3 care calls to members • Coach a person through a health goals

worksheet • Book a one on one, class, or event

Train & Duplicate: • Launch a new business builder • Encourage a business builder • Train a business builder • Teach a class or event for team

member

Prospecting List: 7 Circles of InfluenceWe all have many different circles of friends and family. As a relationship-marketing company, the most successful people in Young Living began by sharing with people they already knew! Many of us began using and sharing the products because we fell in love with them and knew so many other people that NEEDED them in their life!

Identify 7 circles of influence you have (family, church, co-workers, etc.)

Step Three: Weekly Intentional InteractionIt is crucial to your business to actively share the product and educate others about the Young Living lifestyle. This system requires you to schedule ONE intentional interaction with someone in order to share the product with them per week. The main key is to make sure you are sharing and teaching directly from a resource, like the Product Guide. You DO NOT want to look like the expert. Expertise is not duplicable. Reading and sharing from the Product Guide is duplicable! Here are some ideas of what this interaction can look like:

• Scheduled phone call about product or business • One-on-one meeting • Intro to Oils Class • Launch Party • Other Product info Class • Make N Take • Vendor Fair • Conference Call • Facebook class - best as a follow up to an in-person event, or to follow up with an in-

person event.

As you grow into a leader, these will occasionally be replaced with trainings for your team or new leaders. These events might be:

• Compensation Plan Class• Introduction to Business• One-on-on Business Presentation

Log your Weekly Intentional Interaction on the Weekly Activity Tracker page to share with the person who is keeping you accountable. Be sure to keep track of who you met with, what you talked about, when you met, and where you met. All of this is just to keep you accountable, and can be a great log for you to remember what you discussed!

Step Four: Strategic Structuring Learning to strategically structure your organization from the beginning can help maximize your growth, make communication easier, and limit the potential for conflict.

This is how this looks when we use the Prospect List you created above. The first person to sign up in each of your 7 Circles should go directly under you. Ideally, you’ll soon have 7 front line team members (add their names in as they join)!

Duplication

The key to growing your organization quickly is duplication. We have mentioned it before, but DO NOT push yourself and do all of the work alone. It will only burn you out, and can make what you are doing seem overwhelming to others. If you commit to the simple D.R.I.P. system, then the key is to be duplicable… so use THIS SYSTEM. Then, share this system, train others on this system, and duplicate your efforts. Each person, working this system consistently for 60 days has the potential to be somewhere between 1,000 and 3,000 in OGV at the end of that time. With this in mind, it is easy to see how many people you need to have duplicating your efforts to move forward to particular ranks. OGV (Organization Group Volume) is the entire wholesale value of purchases made within a your team. This includes your purchases and the purchases of any member or customer under you.

Here is how Executive can look with this duplication system:

Each circle represents one

person in separate legs duplicating this

system consistently for at least 60 days! This does

not represent every member on your

team.

Duplicate Your Way to Silver

You can utilize this duplication system to build your organization all the way to the top. Here you can see how having 4 people in two separate legs, and at least one other person in a separate leg all working this system, can build an organization to Silver!

You can see here how finding at least 9 other people to duplicate this simple system with you is all that it takes to build your organization to Silver!

Building to Gold and Beyond

You can see how building to Gold and beyond is simply a matter of helping each member duplicate the system and training them to teach others to do the same. A solid Gold team should strive to have at least two solid Silver legs by duplicating in those teams what they did to achieve Silver.

Rank Requirements: Gold: 35,000 OGV3 Legs @ 6,000 OGV

Platinum: 100,000 OGV4 Legs @ 8,000 OGVDiamond: 250,000 OGV5 Legs @ 15,000 OGV

Crown Diamond: 750,000 OGV6 Legs @ 20,000 OGV

Royal Crown Diamond: 1,500,000 OGV6 Legs @ 35,000 OGV As you move toward Platinum, Diamond, Crown Diamond, and Royal Crown Diamond, you want to continue to duplicate the system in order to help each leg achieve Gold rank. The goal for Royal Crown Diamond is to have 6 legs at Gold volume… so working within those 7 circles from your first prospecting list gives you the foundation you need to maximize this duplication system all the way to the top!

Step Five: Best Practices & Troubleshooting These are best practices collected from top leaders across Young Living. These are not essential to growing your business, but they can be very helpful in being more effective in areas you may struggle. New Member:• Coach in the Wellness Lifestyle and encourage not only oils, but lifestyle products

like Ningxia Red and Thieves Household products. • Contact new member once a week for the first month Help them customize their first order for their needs Walk them through the Virtual Office Explain Essential Rewards Explain Monthly Promos • Contact members by phone once every 3 months Make a connection - show you care! The purpose of this call should be “How can I help?” • Send Thank You cards to members once a year.

Schedule:• Use a planner • Set aside daily “work hours” • Have a set workspace in your home • Keep priorities right and set strong boundaries on your business.

Events:• Have the next event scheduled and invites ready at each event (encourage new

members to take invites and bring friends!) • Start and end on time • Do not be the expert. Stick to a script (the Product Guide) and do not share

all you know!• Send thank you cards to those attending events within a week.

Leading: • Scheduled call/meeting with leaders once a week • Create a FB group for your team. • Post fresh content in your FB group to educate others. • Do not teach all classes for your leaders One class for them One class with them Go to support them as they teach their first class on their own, and do not take over. • Be sure to recognize new rank achievements for leaders on your team! People work

harder for recognition and appreciation than they do for money!

Troubleshooting:

If you find that you are having a difficult time growing your business consider these things.

1. Are you allowing God to lead you in your business? Are you giving honor where it is due?

Correction: Give back 10% of everything you earn in your business. Pray over your business and your team, and ask for guidance. Confess sin and ask forgiveness when and where needed. Speak Biblical Truth and direction over your business, your goals, your leaders, and your purpose.

2. Do you have a strong why that you are emotionally connected to? Correction: Review the why portion and videos, discuss with your spouse, close friend, or mentor to help clearly identify your why and your goal!

3. Review your weekly activity sheets for the past month or two. Are you consistent with the system? Are you committing to the 5 Daily Things and 1 Weekly Intentional Interaction?

Correction: Be consistent with this system for 60 days! Give it 60 full days and see if it doesn’t change your habits, and help grow your business!

4. Are you doing MORE than the system recommends? Have you become burnt-out?

Correction: Stick to the system. Try not to do too much. We want everything we do to be duplicable and never want it to seem overwhelming to someone new who may be interested.

5. Is what you are doing duplicable? Are you sticking to a script and ensuring you are not the expert?

Correction: Be sure you are sticking to a script, even if you don’t need one! Teaching from your memory can be intimidating to others, and is something many people feel they could NEVER do. Show others how EASY this is!

6. Are you communicating well? Managing your time well? Is there an area where you need to grow in your skills and abilities?

Correction: Be sure to support your weak areas by learning new skills! Check out the Personal Development section for a ton of resources that can help you in many different areas.

7. Do you struggle with feeling worthy of, or able to achieve your goal? Correction: Speak words of affirmation over yourself daily. Seek the wisdom and guidance of the encouragers in your life, people who can speak Truth into you. Write down your affirmations so you can see them clearly every day. Use your oils!
