Nu Flow’s in-place restoration technology has beneted our customers in a wide variety of ways, which includes

dramatic savings in cost, time, inconvenience and destruction when compared to a traditional pipe replacement.

Industrial Property Customers

Situation:200 feet of 8” cast iron sanitary sewer line was failing. Thesanitary system was located deep under oors, foundationsand inside walls. The customer needed a long-term solution.

Solution:Working with general contractor ESGI, Nu Flow was ableto rehabilitate the pipe system using our structural lining,

saving the customer the destructive, time-consuming andcostly option of a re-pipe.

Anheus er-Busc h Brewery : Sanitar y Sewer Rehabi litat ion

Location: Williamsburg, Virginia

Location: Carlsbad, California

Situation:Copper pipes were accidentally installed as for the EncinaWastewater Authority’s water treatment lab. These gas andcompressed air lines are used for metal analysis, so the pipescan not be made of metal. Since the lab had just been built,

the customer did not want a destructive and disruptive re-pipe.

Solution:Nu Flow’s in-place pipe lining technology provided the idealsolution for the customer. Our technicians used existingaccess points to apply our blown-in epoxy coating to the1/2"-wide compressed air and argon gas lines. This barrier

successfully prevents copper contamination for the lab.

Encina Wastewater Authority: Compressed Air and Gas Line Rehabilitation

Location: Baja California, Mexico

Situation: A potable ltration line at a liqueed natural gas plantexperienced constant failure and leaks due to the effects

of puried water corrosion. The carbon steel pipes areorganized in a maze-like pattern across the ceilling, which

made them challenging to access.

Solution:Nu Flow cleaned the potable system and then lined it usingour patented blown-in epoxy coating, which created a thin,pr otective coating that will prevent future problems. This

eco-friendly process means less mess, less hassle and lesscost for the customer.

Situation:Part of a 6” diameter drain pipe encased in concrete wasleaking 10 feet under a concrete structure. Breaking throughthe concrete to access the pipe was not an option.

Solution:Nu Flow rehabilitated the leaking pipe with our Pustructural liner and created a seamless pipe insidpipe without disrupting the plant’s normal operaFlow contracted a scuba diver to work at the dischbelow the waterline in Lake Michigan.

Raccoon Mountain Pumped-Storage Plant: Cooling Water System Rehabilit

Location:  Albuquerque, New Mexico

Situation:500 feet of 6” re suppression lines were experiencingpinhole leaks, tuberculation and ow reduction. The resuppression system consists of ductile and cast iron pipeswith 90-degree elbows and 260 feet underneath nishedconcrete and interlocking pavers.

Solution:Nu Flow rst sandblasted the inside of the pipe sysit of corrosion, then our patented epoxy was blowpipes using our trenchless technology. This left a pprotective coating inside the host pipes, which wfuture corrosion and pinhole leaks.

Sandia National Laboratories: Fire Suppression Main Rehabilitation

Location: San Diego, California

Situation:Sanitary drain line had reduced water ow and backupsbecause of cracking, root intrusions and weakened joints. The system consists of 6” clay pipe connected to 4” PVCpipe, beneath a layer asphalt.

Solution:The pipe is below an entrance to the building, so Nu Flow’strenchless technology prevented disruption to the ofce’snormal operations. Nu Flow cleaned the pipe system, restoring ow, and then installed our structural drain liner toprevent future problems.

General Atomics: Sanitary Drain Line System Rehabilitation

Location: Chula Vista, California

Situation:PVC pipe that carries de-ionized water lines was leaking atpipe joint locations. The pipe system is suspended 15 feet inthe air, surrounded by other pipes and include 4” mainlinesand 2” tie-ins.

Solution:After sandblasting the inside of the pipes to clean andremove build-up, epoxy was applied to cover up leaks andprevent corrosion. Nu Flow’s epoxy solution is estimated tosave the customer about $2,800 per year in maintenanceand repair.

Goodrich Industrial: PVC Potable Water Lines Rehabilitation

Location: Greenbelt, Maryland

Situation:Nu Flow was asked to rehabilitate a building’s secondaryheating system to remove it of corrosion and to extend itsuseful life. The carbon steel and copper pipe system consistsof 600 feet of mainline and 130 feet of lateral line pipes.

Solution:Day-to-day operations were not disturbed thanks to NuFlow’s trenchless blown-in epoxy coating process. The hostpipes in the heating system now have a protective barrier toprevent pinhole leaks and corrosion.
