DRITA – Overview
DRITA - Dayton Region Israel Trade Alliance established in 2010 by the City of Dayton, Montgomery County, and the Dayton Development Coalition.
Mission: Identify business opportunities and promote collaboration between Israeli and Dayton Region technology-based companies.
Goal: foster the Dayton Region economy by leveraging the connection to Israel.
Hadas Bar-Or was hired by DRITA as Dayton OHIO Region Trade Representative to Israel. Actual starting date: Feb, 2014
Office in Israel located in Tel-Aviv – 2nd largest economy in the Middle East.

→ Israel has 4000 start-ups in Greater Tel Aviv area
1st in innovative capacity and 2nd best innovation ecosystem worldwide
• Tapping into Israeli innovation and breakthrough technologies, allows Dayton Region companies to introduce new and improved products to market at lower costs
• Allows Dayton region companies to increase exports and conquer new geographic markets, with Israel being a considerable market in specific fields and agateway to Europe and Asia

Israeli companies expanding to Dayton
Two Israeli companies chose Dayton to be their hub of operation in the US
Both companies signed an agreement with Sinclair Community College
• Simlat installed a cutting-edge advanced UAS training class in
Sinclair College’s National UAS Training and Certification Center.
• Woosh installed its innovative smart water stations – 3 units –providing clean and fresh water, at affordable price. A very eco-friendly solution as the units sanitize the bottle before refilling - allowing re-use of any bottle.
