What are seeds ?

Seeds are embryonic plants.

Seeds have been an important development in the reproduction and spread of flowering plants.

These are seeds.

Why are seeds important?

Some seeds are important to human because cooking oil comes from coconut seed and humans eat seeds too.

Seeds>Plants>Produce oxygen>Humans take in oxygen to live.

How are seeds formed?

The flower of a plant has a female pistil. At the top of the pistil is a sticky pad called the stigma. This area catches the pollen from another flower. Later, when the pollen unites with the ovule, the seed is formed.

Seed Structure

Structure of a seed:

A seed has a seed coat, seed leaf, shoot and root.
