Report Launchpad

Use case overview:

One of the new offering in TNPM 1.4 is the Report Launchpad. With this, TNPM users will be able to navigate to report of interest with ease, without complete knowledge of the NOC Reporting structure.

Report Launchpad categorized technology packs into seven main wireline technologies, as follows:

Device Management Service Management Access/Transmission Cable VoIP SLA and QoS Metro Ethernet/MPLS Service

These technologies are further grouped into common report category within the technology. Example Device Management will contain reports on Packet Health, Environmental and DHCP, to name a few

Apart from ease of navigation to out-of-the-box legacy and Cognos reports, TNPM users will also be able to add their favorite and most used reports to My Favorite.

This is targeted to all TNPM users, new or experienced.

Supported Technology Packs:

1. Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM 2.14.0.02. Arris CMTS DOCSIS 3.0 2.3.0.03. Huawei U2000 2.1.0.04. MIB-II 2.4.0.0

Output:

1. Login to DASH

2. At the left pane, click the icon, choose Report Launchpad.

3. This will bring user to “TNPM Wireline Launch Pad” page, which contain the 7 main technologies and My Favorite.

4. Click on any of the wireline technologies will bring user to Report Category and Reports tab

5. Example, if you are interested to see how the devices are doing, in term of availability. Choose Device Management, and from the Device Management tab, choose Availability and Global Availability. It will open the selected report.

6. The other available functionality is adding report to My Favorite.

7. From the main page, click the icon, choose Report Launchpad Administration.

It will open new tab that list down all the available reports.

8. Choose the report that user would like to see in the My Favorite. Click Refresh and the selected report will appear in the “Favorite Report”.

9. To assess My Favorite, launch My Favorite and it will open up list of reports added.
