There is a saying: “The Church makes the Eucharist, and the Eucharist makes the Church.” In the Eucharistic celebration, we find Christ truly present in the consecrated bread and wine. We also find him in the assembly, the scriptures, and the preacher-presider--everything we do to do this, and in doing this, we become the Body of Christ. Our Eucharistic remembrance of Jesus is a living sacramental memory that transforms us, too. We receive Communion to live in communion with Christ and one another, to become the real presence of Christ in the world. We do what the disciples did: we feed those in need with the love and compassion with which Christ feeds us.
Hay un dicho que dice: ”la Iglesia hace la Eucaristía y la Eucaristía hace la Iglesia.” En la celebración Eucarística encontramos a Cristo verdaderamente presente en el pan y vino consagrados. También lo encontramos en la asamblea, las Escrituras y al que preside-predica, todo lo que hacemos para hacer esto , y al hacer esto , nos hacemos el Cuerpo de Cristo. Nuestra conmemoración Eucarística de Jesús es una memoria sacramental viva que también nos transforma. Recibimos la Comunión para vivir en comunión con Cristo y con los demás, para hacernos la presencia real de Cristo en el mundo. Hacemos lo que los discípulos hicieron, damos de comer a los más necesitados con el amor y la compasión con que Cristo nos alimenta.

DID YOU KNOW? Know the ways that predators groom children
One of the ways a predator grooms his potential victims is by allowing children to do things their parents wouldn’t — anything from playing video games, seeing R or PG-13 rated movies, or trying drugs and alco-hol. To children, it can be exciting or tempting when another adult says they get to do something they want to do and have been previously de-nied. For the predator, this begins to set up a perceived relationship in which the predator becomes a trusted ally to whom the child can turn. Parents should be aware of who their children spend time with, and what they do together.
