This Sunday, January 26, Dr. Bill Wilson, Director of the Center for

Healthy Churches, will be joining us to preach both Sunday morn-

ing services. His sermon is titled, “What the Church Needs.”

Dr. Wilson has been working with our transition team as we

prepare for the transitions of the coming year.

At 10:00 everyone will have the opportunity to meet, in the

Sanctuary, with Dr. Wilson for a Question & Answer Session. We

will talk about the transition efforts and suggested timelines. We

will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the plan for

our transition process. Those who are not comfortable speaking

may write out questions for Dr. Wilson to answer. Everyone is

encouraged to attend. This is an important time in the life of FBC.

Stuff for Guatemala!

This year our Guatemala mission trip fundraiser will be a yard sale. As you are cleaning out your

closets, keep us in mind. Please consider donating your gently used stuff for this mission. More

details about collection times and dates will be coming later.

Wednesday Dinner Text Reservations

For text reservations, text “My FBC Reservation,” to 31996. You will receive a confirmation. Then, on Sun-

days, you will receive a text with the menu for that week. Reserve your meal by responding to the text. If you

do not want a reservation that week, do not respond.

If you would like to receive text notifications about changes in the FBC schedule due to inclement weather,

simply text, “My FBC Alerts,” to the number 31996.

Quarterly Business Meeting

& Fellowship Dinner

Our Quarterly Business Meeting and Fellowship

Dinner will be held in our Worship Center/ Fel-

lowship Hall on Wednesday, January 29.

Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm. Our menu will

be chicken pie, green beans, rolls and dessert.

Reservations must be made by noon on Tuesday,

1/28. Reservations may be made by text, or by

signing up in the church office.

Our meeting will begin at 6:00 pm. Agenda items

may include financial reports, committee

reports, votes to release membership letters, and

new nominations.

Memorial Sunday Join us on Sunday, February 2, 2020 as we

remember those in our church family who

passed away in 2019.

Regular Wednesday night suppers will resume in

February. Supper will be served on Wednesdays

from 5:00—6:00 p.m. The cost will be $8.00 per

person. Reservations must be made or canceled

each week by noon on Monday. If you sign up

and don't come, you may be charged. If you come

without a reservation, we may have to say no.

Reservations may be made by signing up for text

reservations, contacting the church office, or by

placing a reservation slip in the offering plates or

giving boxes.
