About PMI Hampton Roads Chapter PMI Hampton Roads Chapter is dedicated to serving the business and educational community of Hampton Roads through the advancement of Project Management. The chapter provides a forum for professional Project Managers to promote the principles of the Project Management Institute through networking with other project managers, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training, and supporting Project Management Professionals in their certification efforts. The chapter currently serves over 900 members by providing opportunities to obtain and maintain professional project management certifications through monthly dinner meetings, networking events and its annual Professional Development Conference.
About the 2014 Annual Professional Development Conference This year’s Annual Professional Development Conference theme is Build a Better You – Your Personal Blueprint for PM Career Success and is aligned with PMI Global’s Pulse of the Profession which indicates that employers are focused on a triad of skill sets when seeking top project management professionals – Project Management Technical Skills, Strategic Business Management Skills and Leadership Skills. The break-out sessions and key note addresses will focus on these three learning tracks. This year we will also add a fourth learning track specifically geared towards our local chapter members which focuses on project management job seekers and military to civilian career transitions. The conference will open and close with key note addresses and will be comprised of four concurrent breakout session tracks - each track contains three morning and three afternoon sessions or panel discussions. Please contact [Name] at [Email] or [Phone] with any additional questions you may have. Thank you for your support of PMI Hampton Roads and our 2015 Professional Development Conference.
