Flexible product approach

A wide range of samples can be measured, from low to high viscous products. Sampling and cleaning cycles and result limits can be programmed individually for each type of sample. At the end of the analysis, sample recovery allows to get the sample back in the vial in order to retain it as a reference sample.

Various samples – several parameters

All analysis results are shown on the instru-ment touch screen. A computer is only re-quired if a large product data base needs to be handled and if data has to be exported to LIMS or ERP. With the client/server software LabX, the computer can be placed away from the system, e.g. in the office of the lab manager.

The fully automatic analysis of samples saves time, increases throughput and avoids data transcription errors. The modularity of the systems allows upgrading of an existing instrument with additional modules to add further measuring parameters to the analysis anytime.The standard solution gives reliable and comparable results, wherever the system is used.

DensityThe LiquiPhysics DM density meter is usually the master and controls all other instru-ments, including the automation unit. One click on the selected product or measurement method starts the measurement on all connected instruments. The measurement is done automatically and all results displayed on the touch screen. All measurement data can be analyzed and transferred to a LIMS or ERP system.

Automation The SC1 and SC30 sample delivery and cleaning units completely automate the mea-surement of all parameters, including sampling, rinsing and drying. Using pressurized air allows to measure high viscous samples. There is no evaporation or contamination of the samples. SC1 is for single sample, SC30 for 30 samples.

Refractive IndexLiquiPhysics RX refractive index measuring cells can be connected to the DM density meter to measure refractive index or related values in a multi-parameter system. Benchtop LiquiPhysics RM refractometers are also available for stand-alone measure-ments.

pHThe SevenCompact S220 pH/ion meter can be connected to the LiquiPhysics DM density meters or RM refractometers, using a flow cell to measure pH or conductivity.

ColorThe compact bench-top Spectrophotometer Konica Minolta CM-5 can be used either within a multi-parameter system or as stand alone instrument to measure and analyze the color of liquid samples in transmission and solid samples in reflectance. When equipped with a special flow cell, the CM-5 becomes a fully integrated and controlled part for color measurement of liquids within the multi-parameter analysis system.

SoftwareOur LabX software conveniently manages instruments, users, methods, measurement results, system suitability tests and adjustments. Reports can be adapted to specific corporate layout formats. The results of several instruments are stored in the same data-base and can be exported to LIMS or ERP systems. LabX fully supports you with software validation and compliance including 21CFR part 11.

Instead of spending a lot of time for performing measurements and cleanings on each individual instrument, the operator can spend his valuable time for more demanding tasks.

Manage raw materials and final productsA product data base with all raw materials and finished products can be imported from an existing data base into the LabX software. The measure-ment results are automatically compared with the target values and limits stored in the product data base. Fully customized reports or quality certifi-cates can be created with LabX.

No transcription errorsThe whole workflow is done without human inter-action, therefore eliminating transcription errors. The sample is identified by barcode, the corre-sponding measurement method selected accord-ingly, followed by the comparison of the result to the target values. The result “passed/failed” is stored in the database with all the measurement data and can be transferred to a LIMS or ERP sys-tem (e.g. SAP).
