BACKGROUND

The Bacoor Investment Code of 2008 was enactedby the Sangguniang Bayan of Bacoor on March 31,2008, authored by then Councilor, Hon. Hubert G.

Gervacio;

The BIC 08 though enacted, was not fully implemented until the Hon. SBR created the BTIIC

( Bacoor Trade & Investment Information Center),tasked to enforce/implement provisions of BIC08.

ASPIRATIONS (AS MANDATED BYBIC 08)a) Promote & Encourage Domestic & Foreign

Investments in the Municipality of Bacoor.

b) Attract & Entice Investments in Priority Areas (defined by BIC08) that will Contribute to the Socio- Economic Development, through Optimal Utilizationof Resources.

c) Activation of Bacoor Investment Board (BIB) toensure the provisions of the BIC of 2008 thereto, beImplemented & Adopted by all business communitiesin Bacoor.

OBJECTIVES

To improve and promote a sound and sustainable

& shall develop Bacoor as the most friendly LGU

in trade & investment.

marketable agenda of all business communitieswhether local, international, micro & macro economic perspectives in line with the socio- economic policies that will entail sustainable

development & environment ally conscious society.

To promote the growth of investment in Bacoorparticularly in the preferred investment areas, the

Board shall renew the package of incentives andsupport measures at least every two (2) years, andrecommend for approval to the Sangguniang Bayan.
