Piero Lissoni founded Lissoni Associati (1986) and Graph.x (1996), developing projects inarchitecture, interiors and design linked by his singular sense of style and simplicity. He wasrecently selected for the “Hall of Fame of Interior Design”and also won the “Best Kitchen2005” Elle Décor International Award for a “Table System” designed for Boffi.

Prolific and proficient as both architect and designer, Piero Lissoni has in recent years turnedhis attention to creating luxury hotels. His chic, contemporary style will serve us well at Dellis Cay. Lissoni will design the Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay, Beach House Residences,Ocean Villas and Beach Villas. All accommodations will be designed with expansive outdoor terraces and balconies, providing panoramic views of the ocean and beachfront.

Kuma established Kengo Kuma & Associates in 1990. His numerous residential works,museums, and other public facilities have received on-going critical acclaim and have wonhim several national and international awards. Renowned projects include the LVMH GroupJapan headquarters, Great (Bamboo) Wall, and Water/Glass.

Kuma has been chosen to create the 30,000 square foot Spa at Mandarin Oriental DellisCay and the Spa Villas. The thoughtfully conceived architecture, set against the fluidity of thepools, shallow ponds and reflective water surfaces, invites the natural and environmentalqualities of water into the built spaces.

For Mandarin Oriental Dellis Cay, Ban will lend his expertise to the design of Beach Villaslinked to over-the-water guesthouses by a wood-deck bridge. Harmoniously balancingJapanese minimalism with a refined use of material, Ban's villas touch the earth with a lightness and transparency that draw you into serenity.

SHIGERU BANSHIGERU BAN TRANSFORMS MATERIALITY INTO LIGHT AND EMOTION.

A Tokyo-based architect and artist, Shigeru Ban is known for his extensive focus on the useof innovative materials, especially Paper Tube structures. His recent projects include theJapanese Pavilion at Expo 2000 and the New Pompidou Centre in Metz, France.

It's Dellis Cay - from a totally original perspective. Chad Oppenheim will create a collection ofinspired homes that soar to tree top level -- and beyond. From these lofty residences, one willbe able to take in the wonders of the island and the surrounding waters. Among the plannedhighlights: a pool floating ethereally between ground and sky as well as a star gazing platform.

CHAD OPPENHEIMCHAD OPPENHEIM'S WORK SPEAKS OF A PRIMAL ELEGANCE AND AUTHENTICITY OF PLACE.

Chad Oppenheim has made a career of unique residential projects -- simultaneously daring andsensible, romantic and reductive, evocative and essential. Raised in New Jersey, long residentin Miami, Oppenheim founded his own architectural firm in 1999 and has become one of theleading exponents of the modernist tropical aesthetic. Significant projects include Ten MuseumPark in Miami, the One Hotel, Washington DC, and the Delano/Mondrian Hotels in Las Vegas.

Carl Ettensperger's illustrious career is highlighted by some of the most prestigious projectsin the hospitality industry, including The Residence Hotel in Tunisia; St George's Terrace,Australia; the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Hong Kong; Leela Palace Hotels in Bangalore andBombay; and the Hilton, Maldives.

This much acclaimed Singapore-based designer will create a limited collection of theCaribbean's first over-the-water villas which will follow the natural curves of the Dellis Cay shoreline while offering unobstructed views of the sea. Ettensperger believes in thepower of the human connection to water. His villas create a unique balance of true luxury -understated, elegant and connected.

CARL ETTENSPERGERCARL ETTENSPERGER TRANSPORTS YOU IMMEDIATELY INTO PLACE.

A visiting professor and lecturer in architecture around the world, David Chipperfield has alsoworked for Douglas Stephen, Richard Rogers and Norman Foster. In 1984, he established his ownfirm, David Chipperfield Architects, which has won much praise and awards for its work inEurope, Japan, and the U.S.

Chipperfield will design an exclusive collection of private villas on the north shore, where residents will enjoy magnificent views of the glistening water and protected stands of mangroves. The sense of drama lives outside in nature, while inside, a perfect synthesis ofform, balance and absolute proportion prevails.

Recipient of the 2004 Pritzker Architecture Prize, Zaha Hadid experiments with new spatialconcepts in relation to existing urban landscapes, from urban scale to products, interiors,and furniture. Some of her best known work: Vitra Fire Station, LFOne/Landesgartenschau,Bergisel Ski Jump, Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art, BMW PlantCentral Building, and Ordrupgaard Museum Extension.

Hadid has overseen the Master Plan for Dellis Cay. In addition, it is planned that, she will createluxury residences, beachfront Marina Villas, restaurants and boutiques, and the marina. Zaha'swork redefines our perception of architecture in its environment and compels us to rethink therelationship between form and space.

BEACH HOUSE RESIDENCES MANDARIN ORIENTAL DELLIS CAYPiero Lissoni will be creating nine 3-story buildings that exquisitely complement the island's natural landscape and line thepowder-sand beaches of Dellis Cay. There will be only six Beach House Residences per building, with two and three-bed-room residences ranging from 2,000 to more than 3,000 square feet - many featuring expansive private terraces. Artfullypositioned around a central pool, the Beach House Residences will offer a variety of picturesque pools and ponds for relaxation and exercise - all interconnected by a series of lushly landscaped walkways that also provide direct beach access.
