to medium soft, colour and grain
remaining much the same.

Argillite, dark gray green, fine to medium grain.
medium hard, bedding at 700 to core. The argillite
is interspersed vith numerous sections of dark gray
green quartzite, varying in thickness from 1/8" to
1.0 f, averagins perhaps as much as 15/5 of the core.

Quartzite/ dark gray green, fine to aedium grain,
