#THIRSTY4CHANGE is a self sufficient social media movement. An online campaign that generates awareness of issues concerning the damaging impacts of bottled water production and the health risks that comes with drinking it.

The design is a guerilla installation series of mock water bottles filled with black fluid (immitation poison) strategically placed alongside other water bottles in department stores.

The bottle is labelled with the campaign’s website that informs and educates people about the con’s of bottle water and pushes the benefits of drinking tap water.

Implementing the use of #hashtagging, allows interation with individuals so they can follow the movement and post their own thoughts and opinions via twitter, facebook and instagram.

C O N C E P T D-CNSTRCT is a multi-arts centre that engages with artists and audiences with contemporary ideas and issues.

My concept is based on the pulling apart and bringing together of elements much like Tetris blocks. Previously a train workshop, the urban industrial setting makes a nice canvas for a light-up Tetris installation that is also a functional wayfinding system. It also adds light to a dark space meanwhile also looking awesome. The colours are inspired by Australian aboriginal earthy tones. It reflects the herritage and history of Redfern.
