Worked as Design Architect for a project call Next Generation Networks for Dell and deployed several sites with new state of the art infrastructure. The total cost of the project was around $12M. The solution will provide Dell with better infrastructure and position Dell for the coming years.

Implemented the Global MPLS based WAN connectivity project across all DELL sites to consolidate voice and data. The solution saved DELL more than $15M in annualized savings. The solution is scalable and resilient and provides flexibility to business on call routing and forecasting. This required coordination with various teams and venders in different regions across multiple time zones.

Working on a WAN optimization project across DELL that will reduce the MPLS costs and have considerable $$ savings. The project revolves around using the backup link for scavenger type traffic when both the MPLS are functional and move all the traffic to the backup link and prioritize the traffic so that the voice and class 1/2 applications are not impacted by the outage.

Designed/Implemented CNA (Converged Network Analyzer from Avaya) across all Contact Center Dell sites. CNA is a technology that provides resiliency for voice during a MPLS failure. This project ensured that there was no outage and loss of voice calls when there is a circuit outage and also helps in reducing voice quality issues occurring due to unstable circuits.

Provided consultancy services to R&D business heads and designed/implemented solution where the development labs had connectivity to the other labs in Austin, China and Taiwan while ensuring that the corporate network is secure from the lab environment. This facility houses more than 8 different labs and has around 2500 users working on various platforms.
