Thanks to Nancy Lauer for her submission: Interpersonal Process Therapy by Edward Teyber and Faith Holmes McClure Book Description (from the publisher): Therapy that effects change must authentically involve you, the therapist. Highly engaging and readable, INTERPERSONAL PROCESS IN THERAPY: AN INTEGRATIVE MODEL brings together cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and psychodynamic theories into one cohesive framework, all the while showing you practical ways to alleviate your concerns about making a "mistake". Newly revised and edited, this contemporary text features new case examples, updated references and research, clinical vignettes, and sample therapist-client dialogues, helping to bring you "in the room" with the therapist, and illustrating the interpersonal process in a clinically authentic and compelling way. This book enables you to be who you need to be in a therapeutic situation: yourself. Both scholarly and easy to use, this counseling text will be a resource you'll use again and again. Honoring the retirement of Dr. Robert Wilson

Please visit:

bobwilsonlegacy.wordpress.com

to see the blog that former students,

Nancy Lauer and Jen Kockritz,

created as a forum for fellow students

and friends of Dr. Wilson to reflect and

express their gratitude for his work.

On Friday, December 9th, a large crowd of friends, colleagues, current and former students, and family members gathered to celebrate and honor Dr. Bob Wilson and his 34 years of work at the University of Cincinnati as well as his legacy of helping the underprivileged population. The event included a wonderful slideshow and many kind words from colleagues, students, and friends. Dr. Wilson also had an opportunity to reflect on his time at UC and the many achievements and relationships established over his career. Dean Johnson and School Director Dr. Janet Graden also acknowledged Dr. Wilson and the contributions he has made to the school. The counseling program requests that donations made in honor of Dr. Wilson’s retirement be directed to the Counseling Scholarship Fund at the UC Foundation.
