These people are called mandated reporters and are required by law to report suspected child abuse. Mandated reporters are of critical importance in the child abuse prevention effort. This training identifies the role and responsibility bystanders and care providers play in the prevention, protection and intervention of child abuse.

Introduction to the Art and Science of Botanical MedicineStudents spend time learning about identifying, growing, processing and safely using plants for life enrichment and health promotion. Hands on activities such as product safety and quality assessment, plant identification and processing of raw herbal materials. Hands on activities are paired with lectures focused on a survey of botanicals traditions of the world, historical and current uses of herbs and the introduction to the principles of human physiology and phytochemistry.
