data? Statistics are everywhere and so is the demand for good
statisticians, research methodologists and evaluators. The
University of Northern Colorado’s doctoral program in Applied
Statistics and Research Methods will prepare you to be a critical
thinker with the skills needed to conduct meaningful research.
You will learn how to:

About 30 percent of statisticians work for federal, state or local governments. Inadditiontogovernmentjobs,thisdegreewillqualifyyoutoteachatthe university level, provide leadership in research studies in a variety of disciplines and consult in research methods and data analysis in education and industry. Thisdegreehasa64-creditrequirementandtakesfourtosixyearstocomplete. In addition to coursework, completion of the doctoral program requiresastudent-selectedconcentrationareaorcognate,writtenandoralcomprehensiveexaminationsanddissertationresearch.
