How Do I Join?

Colorado Department of Higher Education

UNIV 101 has been recognized by the state’s Colorado Completes program for promoting successful post- secondary completion.

Why Should I Choose University 101?

• National studies over the past 40 years suggest that students who participate in first year seminars like UNIV 101 tend to earn higher grades and continue in college until graduation at higher rates than those who do not participate.

• Every UNIV 101 section has a Class Leader. Class Leaders are second-year students who have been selected to provide support in and out of the classroom.

• UNIV 101 satisfies 3 credits of the Liberal Arts Core as an elective course.

• For more information, please attend our presentation during the academic breakout sessions during the second morning at New Student Orientation.
