Early Admission Exercise (EAE)

• Allows students to apply for and receiveconditional offers for admission prior to theirGCE O-Level Examinations

• 20% of Academic Year intake from 5Polytechnics

• Application period: June – July (Year of studyin Sec 4)

Polytechnic Foundation Programme(PFP)

• Allows polytechnic-bound N(A) students for entryinto the relevant Polytechnic Diploma courses

• Bonus points will be awarded for good CCAgrades (used in computing the ELMAB3 withinthe PFP)

• Application period: January (after N Levelsexams)

Direct Entry Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP)

• Allows Secondary 4N(A) students to be admitteddirectly into a two-year Higher Nitec programme at theInstitute of Technical Education (ITE) without having tosit for the O-Level examinations or undergoa Nitec programme

• Guaranteed a place in one of the polytechnic diplomacourses that are mapped to their Higher Nitec course(must attain the required minimum qualifying GPA)

• Application period: Upon release of the GCE N-Levelexamination results
