Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) was established in 1975 between four Arab countries (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Qatar) for the development
of advanced technology- based industries in the Arab World. In 1979 Egypt took full control over AOI.
About Us:
AOI wholly owns twelve factories, including:
Aircraft Factory - Engine Factory - Sakr Factory for Developed Industries - Kader Factory for Developed Industries - Railway Equipment Factory (SEMAF) - Electronics Factory - Helwan Factory for Developed Industries - Arab British Dynamics (ABD) - Arab British Engine Company (ABECO) - Arab Timber Industries Company (ATICO)- Arab Renewable Energy Company (ARECO) - Arab Company for Organic Fertilizers
In addition to the larger share in one joint venture namely the Arab American Vehicles Company (AAV), with Fiat-Chrysler.
Fields of Activity:
(AOI) operations include both military and civil activities, fulfilling the requirements of the Armed Forces of Egypt, Arab States and friendly countries. It also supports societal development plans, with emphasis on infrastructure, ecological protection and railway projects.
Capabilities of AOI:
AOI has more than 15,000 skilled workers trained at AOI centers as well as many specialized institutes inside Egypt and abroad.
AOI applies the latest industrial technologies and advanced laboratory equipment in support of engineering industries in addition to calibration laboratories, specialized research centers and integrated quality systems.
International Accreditation:
All AOI units are ISO certified.Some units hold EN & TS certificates – E & CE Marks – national & international accreditations according to field of work.

Surface Water Purification Plants
- Capacity ranges from 5 to 11,000 m3 /day.- Produced potable water of high quality that
corresponds to WHO specifications.- Ultra Filtration Technology. - Compact Surface Water Treatment Units: (2400
/ 5000 / 7500) m3 /day.
Sea Water Desalination Plants
- Desalination unit capacity ranges from 500 to 10,000 m3 /day.
- Salinity of produced water is less than 500 ppm (as per WHO standards).
Brackish Water Treatment Plants
- Treatment of subterranean water by removing iron & manganese.
- The produced water is of high quality that corresponds to WHO specifications.
- Station capacity is 3600 m3 /day.
Sewage Water Treatment Plants
- Capacities ranging from 5 to 150.000 m3/day.- Designed to suit all residential communities
and villages of different populations and also customized on a case-by-case basis.

High Density Polyethylene Pipes (HDPE) & Fittings
Material: PE 100 – PE 80Outside diameter: From 20 to 1,200 mm.Operating Pressure: From 3.2 - 20 barLengths: 6, 12 and 18 m, or 50 m coils for small
diameters less than 90 mm- Used for potable water, sanitary and industrial
disposal networks, natural gas networks, agriculture projects and greenhouses.

Liquid Alum & Potable Water Tanks
- Tanks are vertical rolled plate steel and horizontal sectors, for easy disassembly and reassembly anywhere.
- Has a galvanized sheet-iron roof to protect it from the weather condition.
- Painted from the inside with epoxy, which makes the stored water fit for human consumption (food grade).
• Capacity: from 5 to 500 m3.
• Plate thickness: 4 mm or 6 mm. Can be tailored to meet customer Requirements
Sakr-1 Chlorine Cylinders (1-Ton Capacity)
- Designed to withstand heat, cold and harsh weather conditions and resist the shocks caused by mishandling.
- Heat-treated for stress minimization and highest safety levels.
- Approved by Lloyds and the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality.
Specifications• Wall thickness: 12 mm.• Min. operating pressure: 14 bar.• Max. operating pressure: 21 bar at 50 °C• Gas capacity: 1 ton.• Hydraulic test pressure: 45 bar• Pneumatic test pressure: 21 bar• Melting point: 8595- °C

Greenhouses:
Develop and produce greenhouses using the cutting-edge farming technologies harmonized with the Egyptian environment.

Environmentally Friendly Charcoal Production Kilns
• In order to decrease air pollution resulting from the traditional method of charcoal production, the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) - in cooperation with key specialized companies - manufactures charcoal production kilns.
Operation:
The process depends on airtight heating of wood and agricultural waste in carbonization containers. Heating process continues till full carbonization.
