The Master programme lasts 2 years and begins on the

1st of October 2013.

Admission is scheduled to take place during the July and

September sessions.

The programme is offering 50 places financed by the

budget.

Accommodation for Master students is provided in the

University halls of residence. Master students can apply

for performance scholarships.

Student selection will be done according to the

admission results, calculated as follows:

MA = 0,5 ML + 0,5 MT, where

ML – represents the final mark for the bachelor studies;

MT – represents the mark at the oral examination.

Companies in the field of constructions (structural and

technological design, execution works, monitoring

the buildings' behaviour in time).

Authorized laboratories whose main activity includes

testing of construction materials.

Access to professional associations within the field, for

quality control and verifying of constructions, offices

of local and central authorities.

Access to Doctoral programmes for civil engineering.

Opportunity of working in higher education or

academic field, or in the specific research domain.

To have a more complete training in execution.

To have a real approach in design and research in

accordance to the laws

To deepen advanced methods for design of

structures made of concrete, steel, wood and

composite materials

To experience advanced methods for testing and

simulating the building structures, in the laboratory

and on site

To improve my skills that will enable me to pursue a

doctoral specialization through theoretical and

practical activities

Faculty of Civil Engineering and Building Services of

Iasi has the mission of knowledge creation and

improvement, training and professional qualifica-

tion. The Advanced Materials and Products for Civil

Engineering master proposes a comprehensive

theoretical and practical approach, directly related

with occuring of many new materials and products

for civil engineering.
