EXCURSIONSEnsure your child/children are dressed in a Red T-Shirt for safety reasons. NINTENDO DS/IPODS:

Children are permitted to bring their DS, ipods, etc. However, the centre will not be held responsible/liable

for any damaged property or loss of items. PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS CLEARLY.

URGENT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:

Please ensure you pack enough food and water for your child/children each day. Remember we provide lunch most days. Families supply morning AND afternoon tea.

Children also need to have at least 2 bottles of water (poppers are not sufficient hydration), remember packing more is better than less!

ALLERGY ALERT!! Please do not bring in any nuts, nut products, fish, fish products and/or raw eggs or eggs.

Where possible please wash all hands & brush teeth before attending our centre if you have eaten nut, fish or raw egg products.

Please provide your child with their own medication/s including Epipen or Anapen, accompanied with their Medical Action Plan, provided by the child’s Doctor.

CLOSED IN SHOES ARE TO BE WORN DAILY (NO thongs/Flip Flops: feet need to be covered and protected!!)

Bike, Scooter & Pantyhose bowling Winter crafts day, Bean bag O&X & wii dance off

Description: Our traditional bike and scooter day. Please bring a helmet and please provide knee and wrist pads for your child's safety. Pantyhose bowling is a new game at Cindi Kindi. We are looking forward to watching the kiddies attempt to knock down the bowling pins while wearing a pantyhose on their head. Description: Bean bag O&X is a fun and quick paced game. Bring your game face? We all love a good old Wii dance off. You are more than welcome to bring your own Wii dance games to share, but remember we only play active Wii games at cindi kindi. We love keeping active inside, even tho its winter. PLEASE NOTE, Cindi Kindi will operate on this Staff Development Day if the need is there. OPENING DATES: WEEK 1: Mon 3rd -Fri 7th 2017. WEEK 2: Mon 10th -Fri 14th 2017. WEEK 3: THURSDAY 27th 2017 (only if there is a need for care on this day).

FEE INFORMATION: You may be eligible for discounts through The Family Assistance Office; call 136150 for all Child Care Benefit (CCB) for information.

Fees are; pre-booked rate of $46.00 per day, and casual (booking made during the holidays) are at $59.00 per day. Please pay by cash, cheque or bank

transfer. Please ensure all cheques are made out to Cindy Fry. Refunds do not apply on any pre-paid permanent bookings. Daily rates include most lunches and

some extra activities. There may be compulsory added costs (e.g. excursions, incursions, etc) or optional extras (hot beads and hot chocolates). Added costs

can be found on the program in the cost section, and need to be paid on the day of attendance in a detailed envelope.

HOURS: 7.00am to 6.00pm. Late fees may apply to you for collecting your child/ren after 6.00pm. $1.00 p/min after. Late fees are payable on

the night, or within 24hours.

CENTRE APPLICATION/ENROLMENT FORMS: Centre enrolment forms must be completed annually, along with the payable $25.00 enrolment fee per child & is

required to be paid prior to commencement. Vacation care enrolment is to be completed each holiday session you are attending. PLEASE PROVIDE VACATION

CARE FEES/FORMS TO THE CENTRE BY FRIDAY 30th June 2017. BOOKINGS MADE AFTER THIS DATE ARE CHARGED AT THE CASUAL RATE.

BOOKINGS: All days are subject to availability. We have limited places, and cannot exceed these numbers. Our policy does not allow to change/swap any

booked or paid days (no refunds are available). Cindi Kindi Vacation Care reserve the right to cancel & or cease a booking. Bookings will not be guaranteed

without full payment of child care fees, enrolment fee & fully completed enrolment form for each child. Bookings will also not be processed if there is any

outstanding fees from a previous holiday period outstanding.

ABSENCES: Please contact our centre if your child will be absent. If we, Cindi Kindi OOSH, feel that your child is too ill to attend our service on any one day, we

the staff will contact you & may request you to immediately collect your child from our service. Children with asthma & anaphylaxis must carry medications.

EXCURSION/INCURSION DAYS: Compulsory costs are payable with the correct cash inside a detailed envelope with your child’s

name and activity written. Please ensure that you have signed the permission slip on vacation care enrolment form. Please arrive at Cindi Kindi by 9am on

excursion days (the bus may leave without you). We will aim to be back at the centre before 4.00pm. All excursions are mandatory for all children attending on

those particular days. We may walk, use public transport eg, buses, train, cars/taxis & may use private buses, in some cases transport may not run on time and

alternative transport times and/or companies may be used at Cindi Kindi staff's discretion. If it is raining excursions may be cancelled and all excursion money

will be returned. Excursion badges will be provided to each child for excursion safety & will need to be returned to the centre. Please advise your child/ren of

excursion safety. It is extremely important for your child/ren to be aware & to be safe always.

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable clothing. Please be mindful we may get messy, and there is a possibility clothing will get dirty/messy.

Closed in shoes are COMPULSORY every day. Dress for season e.g. jumpers, bring a hat (no hat no play!), sunscreen, and a paint shirt.

PARKING: Please use the school entrance gate located on Brushwood Drive. This may be closed/locked during 9-4 if we are on an excursion or as a safety

measure. We will unlock once we return from the excursion and/or just open the gate at the handle.

DROP OFF/PICK UP: Drop off & pick up of children; it is mandatory that you the parent/guardian or authorised nominee sign your child/ren in and out during

every visit in the sign in/out sheets provided. Please call our centre on 0412575551 or 0431399299 if you are going to be late (after 6pm) in collecting

your child/ren. Late fees may apply. If someone other than you, the primary care giver is collecting your child/ren from our service, please advise our staff of

this arrangement. The new pick up persons is requested to produce their photo I.D. to our staff, if not, staff will not allow any persons not stated on your

enrolment form &/or advised about to collect your child/ren from our centre (for child protection reasons).

MEALS: Most lunches are offered by our service (excluding restaurants such as subway, sushi train etc, these meals are at a cost to families). If your child

doesn’t eat the lunch available on our Cindi Kindi Vacation Care program, we could either try to further accommodate the meal to your child or you can pack

him or her with their own lunch from home. Also, please supply your child with morning tea, afternoon tea, snacks & plenty of fluids (WATER) on every

visit (two or more bottles of water). Fruits, breads, wholemeal products, etc. Please clearly label all items.

MEDICATION: We may administer most medication to your child/ren, please ensure the medication is in date, has that child’s name printed, packaging is in

good order & not tampered with and a clearance letter addressed to Cindi Kindi to do so by the child’s Doctors, accompanied with medical administration

forms completed by the parent/guardian/authorised nominee.

WHERE CAN I GET A CINDI KINDI PROGRAM?: Vacation care programs are available at Alfords Point school office, local Before and After School Care Centres,

Menai Library & Community Centre, in our Cindi Kindi room, on our Cindi Kindi Web page- visit www.cindikindi.com.au, as well as Cindi Kindi emails about our

vacation care program. Children from all schools are invited within our service as well as neighbour's children, cousins, friend’s children, children that do not

normally attend Cindi Kindi Alfords Point Before & After School Care, and children from our communities.
