The 2016-2017 Pilgrimage of Faith Appeal The theme for this year’s appeal is “We, who are many, are one body in Christ”. Rom12:5 The appeal is a means by which we can all work together to love and care for the Church by sharing the gifts God has granted to
us. This year our goal is to raise $45,000; $18,550 towards our Diocesan commitment and $26,450 for our Parish goals. Donations can be made any time through the parish of�ice. Please make cheques payable to: Our Pilgrimage of Faith Collections to Date: $25,965. from 74 Donors. That is 100 % of our Diocesan commitment and 28% of our Parish Goal.

Development and Peace – Caritas Canada supports partners in Syria who provide housing, educa�onal, medical and material services to those a ected by the con ict. “We are not doing charity, we are walking alongside the people,” - Director of Jesuit Refugee Service in Syria. World Day of Prayer SAT, MARCH 4 “Am I being Unfair to You?” World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come to-gether on the first Friday in March each year to ob-serve a common day of prayer. They affirm their faith in Jesus Christ and engage with the whole world, enrich each other by the faith experiences of
Christians of other countries and cultures, share the burdens of other people by praying with them and for them, and use their talents in the service of God’s world. 2017 Daily Missal Subscribers It is time to let the parish office know if you wish to continue your subscription as the current subscription ends in Feb. 2017. Those who already subscribe to the daily Mass Missals or wish to start receiving them, please let the parish office know as soon as possible. Year subscription is $35.
Office of Faith Formation News: We are excited to present David Haas and Lori True in concert! Concert date is Friday May 5th. A Music & Liturgy workshop will be held on Saturday May 6th. Both events will be at St. Charles Garnier parish, Kelowna. More details to follow.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS NEWS Next general meeting is Wed. Feb. 1 at 7pm. KofC Membership for 2017 are now due. $30 for the year. $15 if you are aged 65 or older. The Knights of Columbus travelling icon of the Holy Family is set up in our sanctuary for a couple of weeks.

Kights of Columbus Bursary Information The annual British Columbia and Yukon Bursary Program is known as the Bishop Thomas J. Lobsinger, OMI Memorial Bursary Program. The 2017 program is now receiving applications. Once again we are privileged to offer thirty bursaries of $500.00 each to Catholic students across the Province of British Columbia. These bursaries are made available on a one-time-only basis to young practicing Catholic students who are in their second or subsequent year of post secondary education at a recognized institute of higher learning within the Province. Applications are accepted from January 1st, 2017 until June 30th, 2017 with the bursaries being awarded in the fall.
