Ancient Chinese Environment

• China is in Asia. Tibet is in China. Polar bears live in the mountains of China. Mount Everest is in the side of China. The Himalaya mountain range is between China and India.

The Great Wall of China

• The Great Wall of China was built 2,000 years ago. The great wall is one of the largest building completed. It was also made by hand.

Ancient Chinese Food

• In China rice is so popular. Tea grows in the wild in China. About 300 BC ago China began to drink tea. Since meat was so expensive no one ate it. They also put vegetables in their rice.

Ancient Chinese Clothing

• People in China wear tunics (like very long t-shirts). Womans wear ones up to there feet and mens wear ones up to there knee. Poor people wear hemp or rame. Rich wear silk.
