Hope everyone is having a fun, safe summer (which is flying by too quick-ly), and that you have been able to get out and enjoy some rides to view the beautiful scenery throughout Ohio, and other states too. We forgot to talk about the Wing Nut Challenge at the meeting: Joe & Shelly Keller won, Ray & Shelley Immel came in second. Included later in the newsletter is the list of items they had to go out and shoot pics of. We had 4 bikes and a beautiful day for our Chapter ride on 8/16 to Bellville to eat at the Buckeye Express Diner (which is a train car). September looks like it could be a very busy month: Upcoming events (GWRRA events in bold) September 1 Steak Fry at Tom & Pat Wysocki's starts at 3:00, eat at 5:00 September 2 Mystery Ride will be led by Mike & Andie Dorsey September 4-6 PA State Rally in Erie, PA September 9 Chapter gathering September 11-14 Region D Rally in Kendalville, IN (see Registration form) September 16 Dinner ride to Marie's (Wadsworth) September 20 Chapter ride September 23 Dinner ride to Mike's Place (Kent) September 26-28 Buckeye Time out (see flyer) September 30 Dinner ride to El Fogon October 4 Chili Bash at Suffield Lions Club Remember, dinner rides leave the plaza @ 6:00 p.m., or you can meet us at the restaurant at 6:30 if you cannot make the ride. Everyone stay safe out there.

The summer of 2014 is winding down. The County Fairs are coming and going and Chapter T is planning our Annual Steak Fry. (Thanks Tom and Pat). The real indicator that fall is on the horizon is that those of us who are "snowbirds" are deciding when we will be leaving Ohio for the winter months. September is a busy month on our Birthday list. Be sure and check our calendar for specific dates. Those celebrating this month are Ray Immel, Ron Abate, Charlene Norris, Bruce Barthol, James Berry, Charlie Selzer, Eugene Cunard, Marlene Isom, Theresa Firth and Fred Nichols. Couples having anniversaries this month are Mike & Andie Dorsey, Dale & Colleen Hudson, John & Carol McGirr and James & Joyce Berry. See you at the Steak Fry.
