PART A - Specific Conditions: Construction Phase:-

I. “Consent for Establishment” shall

be obtained from Haryana State

Pollution Control Board under Air

and Water Act and a copy shall be

submitted to the SEIAA, Haryana

before the start of any construction

work at site.

Consent to Establish has been

obtained and copy of the same

is attached as Annexure-II.

II. A first aid room as proposed in the

project report shall be provided both

during construction and operation

phase of the project.

During construction phase, a

first aid room has been provided

on site for the workers. A doctor

has been appointed temporarily

on site to deal with the workers.

MOU has been signed with Shri

Radhey Hospital and Trauma

Centre for emergency situations.

Copy of the MoU has been

attached as Annexure III. The

same will be followed during

operation phase.

III. Adequate drinking water and

sanitary facilities should be

provided for construction workers at

the site. Provision should be made

for mobile toilets. Open defecation

by the labours is strictly prohibited.

The safe disposal of waste water and

solid wastes generated during the

construction phase should be

ensured.

Drinking water facility for

workers is being provided by

private water tankers from

HUDA. Bills for the same are

attached as Annexure-IV.

Sufficient arrangements for

toilets and bathing have been

provided on site. Mobile toilets

are available for workers on site.

Wastewater is disposed through

soak pit.

IV. All the top soil excavated during

construction activities should be

stored for use in

horticulture/landscape development

within the project site.

Excavated muck is being stored

at an isolated place within the

campus and will be utilized in

Greenbelt development and

leveling.

V. Disposal of muck during

construction phase should not

create any adverse effect on the

neighboring communities and be

disposed off taking the necessary

precautions for general safety and

health aspects of people, only in

approved sites with the approval of

competent authority.

The construction material is

stored within the project area.

No excavated muck has been

disposed off outside the project

premises and is stored at an

assigned location within the site

boundary. No Human

settlement is present nearby

Regular water sprinkling is

being done to avoid any such

problem.

VI. Construction spoils, including

bituminous material and other

hazardous materials, must not be

allowed to contaminate

watercourses and the dump sites for

such material must be secured so

that they should not leach into the

ground water and any hazardous

waste generated during

construction phase, should be

disposed off as per applicable rules

and norms with necessary approval

of the Haryana State Pollution

Control Board.

Construction spoils including

bituminous material and other

hazardous material is being

kept at secured place. Proper

provision for dumping of waste

is ensured. All the hazardous

waste like spent oils and used

oil etc. are being sold to the

waste oil recycler authorized by

Haryana State Pollution Control

Board.

VII. The diesel generator sets to be used

during construction phase should

be low sulphur diesel type and

should conform to Environment

(Protection) Rules prescribed for air

and noise emission standards.

DG sets are being used for the

event of power failure only and

are running on low Sulphur

diesel and are conforming to

Environment (Protection) Rules

prescribed for air and noise

emission standards.

VIII. The diesel required for operating DG

sets shall be stored in underground

tanks and if required, clearance

from Chief Controller of Explosives

shall be taken.

As DG set is being used at the

time of power failure so diesel is

being purchased daily on

consumption basis. In operation

phase diesel generators will be

used having ample capacity. If

required permission from Chief

IX. Ambient noise levels should

conform to residential standards

both during day and night.

Incremental pollution loads on the

ambient air and noise quality

should be closely monitored during

construction phase. Adequate

measures should be taken to reduce

ambient air and noise level during

construction phase, so as to

conform to the stipulated residential

standards.

Ambient noise and air

standards were closely

monitored and all results are

found below the standards

specified by CPCB. Reports are

attached as Annexure-V and

Monitoring Analysis is

incorporated in Chapter 4.

XVI Opaque wall should meet

XVIII. Overexploited groundwater and

impending severe shortage of water

supply in the region requires the

developer to redraw the water and

energy conservation plan. Developer

shall submit details of good

practices that have been included in

the project to reduce the overall

footprint of the proposed

development including detailed

water balance along with source

and quantities of potable and non-

potable water requirement

(including water requirement during

construction phase) incorporating

water efficiency/ saving measures

as well as water reuse/ recycling

within 3 months to the SEIAA,

Haryana and R.O. MOEF, GOI,

Chandigarh before the start of

construction.

Water efficient fixtures will be

used to reduce daily water

requirement. Water efficiency/

saving measures along with

water balance diagram have

already been submitted to

SEIAA, Haryana.

XIX. The project proponent shall

construct 16 nos. rain water

harvesting pits for recharging the

ground water within the project

premises. Rain water harvesting pits

shall be designed to make

provisions for silting chamber and

removal of floating matter before

project will be operational solely on

generators without any power

supply from any external power

utility.

XXIII The project proponent shall obtain

XXIV The project proponent shall not

PART A- SPECIFIC CONDITIONS : Operation Phase

I The Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)

shall be installed for the treatment

of the sewage to the prescribed

standards including odor and

and DG set cooling.

III For disinfection of the treated

wastewater ultra violet radiation or

ozonization process should be used.

Ultraviolet technology is

proposed for tertiary treatment.

IV The solid waste generated should be

properly collected and segregated.
