Changes to your journey through Banbury and Oxford this Summer 30 July – 14 August 2016 As part of our Railway Upgrade Plan, Network Rail will be carrying out major rail improvement work between Leamington Spa, Banbury, Bicester North, Oxford and Didcot Parkway this summer, and lines will be closed for up to 16 days. This will affect train services operated by Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry and Great Western Railway. From Saturday 30 July until Sunday 14 August 2016, engineers will carry out flood protection work between Oxford and Didcot Parkway. In addition, for nine days from Saturday 30 July until Sunday 7 August 2016 inclusive, the signalling in the Banbury area will be replaced with a more modern and reliable system which will be controlled from the West Midlands Signalling Centre in Birmingham. Also, from Wednesday 3 to Sunday 7 August 2016, bridge repairs will be carried out on the North Cotswolds route between Oxford and Hanborough. Rail replacement bus services will operate between Leamington Spa, Banbury and Bicester North; between Leamington Spa, Banbury, Oxford and Didcot Parkway; and between Banbury, Hanborough and Oxford. Changes to your journey through Banbury and Oxford this Summer30 July – 14 August 2016

As part of our Railway Upgrade Plan, Network Rail will be carrying out major rail improvement work between Leamington Spa, Banbury, Bicester North, Oxford and Didcot Parkway this summer, and lines will be closed for up to 16 days. This will a� ect train services operated by Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry and Great Western Railway.

From Saturday 30 July until Sunday 14 August 2016, engineers will carry out fl ood protection work between Oxford and Didcot Parkway.
