Electric FeedthroughsAuburn electric feedthroughs are used in oil and gas filled transformersand switching equipment.

Additional applications include terminals and overloads in hermetic airconditioning and refrigeration compressors, explosion proof electricmotors, generators, autoclaves, and centrifugal and submersible pumps.

They are compact and their one piece design assures positive electricaland leak-proof connection into the pressure vessel.

Never before has Crown’s quality and workmanship been so evident, as in our NEW industrial line ofigniters and flame rods. You can select from a wide variety of stocked items in this catalog or we canB.T.O. (build to order) against your submitted samples and/or drawings...your choice!

Our industrial igniters and flame rods match the original OEM critical specs from the seat of the glandnut to the tip of the center wire or from the end of the gland nut thread to the tip of the center wire,whichever is applicable. Our protruding insulator length or over-all length proves to be of no significancein the field application. All of our igniters are made of high quality heat resistant alloy (H.R.A.) centerwires and grade L3 Steatite glazed insulators (except wherever noted). In high pressure applicationscenter wires are cemented in place and Viton® O-rings are included inside the gland nut assemblies.
