Purpose

To bridge the gap between CGA senators and students on campus.

What it is

Two times a month CGA senators will sit at a table in the SSC and Kehr Union for an hour or more a day. During this time, students can come up and voice any concerns or ideas they may have. Also at this table, students will be able to see meeting minutes from CGA’s last meetings. This will allow students to see what is currently is happening at CGA and things CGA is doing to help improve this school. Having Senators there will allow students to develop a relationship with them and also allow them to learn more about what CGA Senators do. The next meeting dates will also be available to encourage students to come out and participate.

Tissue for Issues Kick Off!

In order to bring attention to what Tissues for Issues is, a kick-off event will take place during the first few weeks of school. The ideal location for this event is the SSC Patio and Quad. This event can have free food or other promotional items to give away to students. However, in order to receive these promotional items, students must follow CGA on Husky Sync and other social media pages. Also, CGA senators will be present to show students who they are. If possible, senators should wear clothing or a name tag to distinguish them apart from everyone else.

Stake Signs

Purpose

To make students more aware of CGA and everything they do.

What it is

After surveying the student body, we found out that most students had no recognition of what CGA was or what they do. We decided to create a way to allow students to see directly how many of things they use in their everyday life is made available by CGA. We decided to post stake signs, which are plastic signs mounted into the ground, outside of all the places CGA maintains and runs. On these signs, we decided to use catchy slogans, that were personalized to the life of Bloomsburg Students to catch their

attention. Below the catchy slogans, information on how students could obtain more information and get more involved was also provided.
