CEM Advisory Board.
Access to CEE/CEM Staff A Project Executive Member may contact CEE/CEM personnel directly to discuss program and
educational issues. Members of the CEM Program will be invited to visit the campus for technical
discussions and to offer special seminars or technical courses.
Yearly Student Resume Portfolio A portfolio of CEM student resumes will be provided to all Project Executive Members. These students
seek Internship, Co‐Ops, and / or full time professional positions. A directory of the students listed will

undergraduates a maximum of 3 credits when the experience is listed under CE 495 Special Topics.
Career Assistance for CEM Students Project Executive and Project Manager Members will have a complimentary table at the fall and spring
Career Fair at Clarkson University. All Member Companies are encouraged to attend the Career Fairs.
The CEM program will host a social reception, the night before both Career Fairs, for Members and CEM
students. The event will have light refreshments. The purpose of the reception is to encourage casual
conversation between students and Members. (Resumes will not be distributed during the reception).
Project Executive and Project Manager Members will have the opportunity to host, in conjunction with
the Clarkson University Career Center, a resume building and job search workshop with CEM Students.
Engineer‐in‐Residence Program Project Executive, Project Manager, and Project Engineer Members may send an individual to Clarkson
University to work on a mutually‐agreed upon project in collaboration with CEM faculty. Members will
have the ability to present lectures to scheduled (classes on campus and/or by video conferencing) and

SPEED Team Help Board All Members can assist students in preparation for the Associated Schools of Construction (ASC),
Student Construction Management Competition. Assistance could include discussions about means and
methods, scheduling, estimating, project management, reports, presentation methodology, and other

related topics. Participation by the Help Board in critiquing the SPEED Team’s dry run is crucial to having
a successful team. Discussions may be conducted via video conferencing and/or on‐campus visits.
Scholarships All Members may elect to earmark part of their annual contribution for scholarships to support
