Presidential Preference PrimaryFlorida Statewide Results from March 17th
Donald J. Trump won with 92.31%Joe Biden won with 61.96%
38.20% of Sarasota County residents (registered Republicans and Democrats) voted in the Presidential Preference Primary on March 17th!We want to thank our 28 volunteers that helped out on Election Day with the polling location changes in Sarasota County. Your efforts were exceptional and greatly appreciated.

Party Chairs/Candidates/Campaign Treasurers:Due to the impacts of the coronavirus on the Supervisor of Elections operations, the Supervisor of Elections office will continue to use the current CFinance online campaign finance reporting system through the 2020 general election cycle. Please continue to submit your financial reports as usual.The Supervisor of Elections 7th floor administrative offices are closed to the public until further notice. However, they are still working behind the scenes to help meet your needs. If you have questions or need assistance, please email Amy Potter at [email protected] or call 941.861.8606.
Tax Day Moved For your information:Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin announced that Tax Day will be moved to July 15 from April 15 because of the coronavirus outbreak.At President Donald Trump's direction, Mnuchin tweeted, "we are moving Tax Day from April 15 to July 15. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties."
