General procedure for investors in Technopark «Grabtsevo»:

• Submission of «Production Placement Application» (download from www.invest.kaluga.ru) to Kaluga Region Development Corporation KRDC

• Project approval by Volkswagen Group Rus (required!)

• Investment agreement with Kaluga Region Government and KRDC

• Preliminary agreement with KRDC e.g. for land survey (optional!)

• Land purchase contract with KRDC

• Construction


• We expect from our JIT, key & volume suppliers to settle next door

benefits e.g.: transport, reaction times, direct communication, chance of simplified logistics etc.

• Neighborhood creates synergies (Volkswagen & Supplier and Supplier & Supplier):

e.g. construction (speed through use of existing men & material), security, general services, transport etc.

• Strong commitment from Kaluga towards Technopark Grabtsevo

• Dense tier 1 supplier community attracts tier 2 & 3 suppliers
