CARNIVAL INFORMATION Welcome to the 2021 Turtle Lake Elementary School Carnival Packet! We are excited to have you join us for this school year’s outdoor Candy Land Carnival! CANDY LAND CARNIVALOutside School ✸ 11 am - 3 pm ✸ October 16th
General Donations Needed! • Candy Bars and Packs of Gum (multi-packs of
regular-size candy bars, or large movie-size bars, or multi-packs of regular-size bubble gum) Candy bars must NOT contain any nuts!
• Pre-Packaged, Unopened, New Bakery Items (i.e. boxes of cookies, Little Debbies, etc. Please ensure items do NOT expire before/during Oct 2021)
• Gently Used Books and DVDs for the used book sale room. (We are no longer accepting VHS tapes)
• Novelty Room Items (theatre-size candy boxes, unopened packs of gum, snack packs, bags of crackers or chips, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches, etc.)
DROP-OFF DAYS: Sep 29, Oct 6, Oct 13 (Please label all items, e.g. Classroom Baskets, General)
Volunteers Needed! Join in on the fun and work at a game (by yourself or with your child), or help at a station outside. You can work one shift or multiple! Time options are listed below:
• Carnival: Oct 16 from 10:45 – 12:00 // 11:45 - 1:00 // 12:45 – 2:00 // 2:00 – 3:30 (incl. game clean-up)
• Post-Carnival Clean-up: Oct 16 from 3:30 – 5:00

Silent Auction & Quick-Pick Items
Can I participate in the silent auction?
All Turtle Lake Families can donate to the auction. It can be a BIG item, a small item, a whole basket or single items that we can make into a basket. You can even donate an item to promote your business.
What items have been popular?
Toys (all ages), electronics, gift cards, packaged food, baking items, kitchen gadgets, sporting equipment, spa items, games, adult beverages, event tickets, sporting events, rounds of golf, restaurant gift cards, hand knit items, wood working, business donations, live theatre/music, MOA fun. The list goes on. You can get creative or just send some money in if you want to donate but don’t have the time to shop. We got you covered!
Businesses can donate goods or services. The Auction is a great time to get the word out about home-based business or new services available in the area! We love our community and love to promote it!
Is my item tax deductible?

Are there any restrictions or rules regarding donations?
Items must be NEW and we cannot accept homemade food items or religious holiday items (i.e. Christmas).
