March 23, 2011 General Membership Meeting will be Wednes-day,
March 23 at 7:15 PM at the Bellport Commu-nity Center with a
demonstration by a noted Long Island artist Mary Samuels. Mary will
be demon-strating her impressionistic approach using acrylic paints
to a floral still life.

Member News: SBAA Plein Air Group is in immediate need of a
chairperson. Diana M. Berthold is exhibiting her oil painting,
“Grey Like the Wind,” which was awarded 1st Place at the Town
of Brookhavenʼs Art Show in October 2010 amongst 35 oil paintings,
at the Art & Soul Gallery, 495A Montauk Hwy, Eastport for the
month of March. Artistsʼ Reception March 6th 2011George
Wybenga has a one man show during the month of March of 40+ of his
serigraphs at the Syosset Public Library, 225 S. Oysterbay Rd,
Syosset. George also had his Mezzotint, Snow Maiden accepted at the
current ex-hibition, WOMEN, at the East End Arts Council in
River-head. March 4th - April 15th
