Calculating Lead Times for a Routing
Trigger:
Concept
Manufacturing Lead time is the total time required to
manufacture an assembly.
You can create and calculate lead times from the Routings page
after you query on a
manufacturing item's routing. You can calculate manufacturing
lead times for one item, a range
of items, or a category of items. The calculation updates the
lead time attributes of all
manufacturing items that you include, regardless of whether you
manually maintain an item's lead
times.
Lead time for items with network routings is calculated using
only resources on the primary path.
In this topic, you will calculate lead time for a routing.
