Mission Statement Our Lady of Lourdes Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, established in 1967, is a parish of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston. Called by God in Scripture and Tradition, we share in the Mission of the universal church to worship God. Living our baptismal call to holiness, our faith is deepened when we commit ourselves to the service of all within the parish and the world for the building up of His church to the honour and glory of God. Through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, may we be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit through Christ, the Lord.

~ Amen.

Share Lent 2015 – Sowing Seeds of Justice for women and girls in Nigeria. Doubly poor are those women who endure situations of exclusion, mistreatment, and violence, since they are frequently less able to defend their rights. Even so, we constantly witness among them impressive examples of daily heroism in defending and protecting their vulnerable families. –Pope Francis, The Joy of the Gospel, 212. Supporting women and girls is a priority for DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE. When 276 girls were kidnapped in Nigeria, our local Nigerian partner managed to smuggle three girls to safety. The Share Lent collection is on the Fifth Sunday of Lent, March 22.  Consultation for the Synod on the Family 2015 A consultation is underway to prepare for the 2015 Ordinary Synod on the Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and the Contemporary World.
